Introducing the new OFFSIDE scarf, created for Dutch football supporters. An Oranje supporter item, but not the kind of orange you're used to seeing in supermarkets or traditional fan merchandise. One that's timeless, designed to be worn season after season.

The scarf for dutch football fans, Oranje Kant. 'Kant' has a double meaning in Dutch: it means both "lace" and "side." As a result, the name can be interpreted as both "Orange Lace" and "Orange Side.,

For the campaign, I collaborated with Camille Boumans, who beautifully translated the story into film. Both the scarf and the video celebrate the Dutch landscape, literally and figuratively. Green fields become football pitches, where tradition and modern football culture come together. Because football has become just as much a part of Dutch culture as our landscapes, crafts and traditions.

To me, the modern football supporter looks very different from the one brands portrayed in the 1990s, when women were often little more than decoration in football campaigns. Today, female supporters are visible, engaged and helping shape the culture around the game. That's why we created a supporter item designed with her in mind. And, of course, it looks just as good on the male supporter.
