Mijn Club,

What started as my graduation project grew into a scarf paying tribute to the female Ajax supporter. Because being a female football fan is about so much more than the way women are often portrayed in the media. We're done having to justify our place in football or prove that we know the offside rule. Women are just as much a part of supporter culture as men.

To create a new kind of supporter scarf, I reimagined the traditional supporter scarf. One with craftsmanship, refinement, and a story. A supporter item that deserves a place next to your favourite match shirt.

For the design we looked at the things that make Ajax and its supporters so unique: the city of Amsterdam, the songs that echo through the stands, the stadium fences, stories passed down through generations, and, of course, the Ajax tattoo, a symbol of the inturn love for there club.

There was only one person who could bring these stories together: Amsterdam tattoo legend Morrison Schiffmacher. She lives and breathes Amsterdam and Ajax. Having grown up in a true Ajax family herself, she brought all these elements together in the design you see here.
